From now until December 15th, we will be collecting cellphones for our troops.
A phone call home can cost our soldiers $7 - $8 per minute. Every single phone donated will be refurbished, sold, melted down, or whatever it takes raise money so that the troops don't have to pay these outrageous fees themselves. Calling cards with a healthy supply of minutes and fair rates will help our troops reach their families and hear the voices of their parents, their wives, their husbands, and their children.
So if you have a cell phone to donate, please bring it to any Lubbers location, whether you are in Wichita, Andover, Cheney, Hutchinson, or the surrounding area, where there will be a box (or several) to collect your phone.
